Okay so I've already made and cut and eaten some of these babies. They are delicious. I had to make a few changes - used roughly chopped almonds and left some whole (I was holding a fussy baby, what can I say?!), and didn't have sunflower seeds so I used chia seeds, brewer's yeast and extra raisins. They turned out super yummy...I love a good treat that is also really healthy!

I tried the Ferber method based on your blog. Thank you so much! I can't believe no one recommended this to me in the past year. It worked great.

My daughter was driving me crazy, literally. She is now 13.5 months. She wouldn't fall asleep or stay asleep. My whole life was centered around getting her to sleep or trying to make sure no one woke her up.

Now, we have a very pleasant bed time routine and I lay her in the crib and she just goes to sleep! It is like heaven.

She still wakes up at night sometimes (only once or twice compared to every hour). I think that this is because she still uses a pacifier. I plan on using the same method to wean her off of it very soon.

Thank you so much for the recipe!! I am thrilled with the way mine turned out! I happened to have all the ingredients in my pantry already (including the coconut!) so it felt great to make them for "free." They are perfect for those my-pregnant-body-is-suddenly-desperately-hungry moments, too!

I think you could probably substitute whatever in this... but I don't think I'd bother substituting "actual granola" -- I'd probably just up the oatmeal measurements. Or do chocolate chips instead. :) Or peanut butter chips! The "actual granola" might be a bit too clumpy to incorporate well; I chop my pecans pretty fine.

I love this. I had not thought about splitting up the Martha and Mary challenges. I had gotten discouraged because I couldn't keep up with both. I am excited now to restart on the Martha challenges. I think I will work with the maintenance challenges until the end of the month and then start fresh on July 1 with the book. Thanks for this new inspiration!!

Thank goodness for Stuart. Otherwise, your house would look like a model house and not like someone lived in it. Also, Stuart might be preparing you for the joys of children who get out toys and don't put them away so that you'll reasonably ask them to clean up, but not follow them around constantly! :) Love you sister!! Ir's true. As soon as I required Sarah to dust her own room, she started getting rid of clutter. I don't know where she got it, CERTAINLY not me, but... no pack rat closet. I have them -- not closets, but rooms, which Sarah has volunteered to clean for me! Not on your life! LOL

And that is the exact episode, the exact scene. Chandler then suggests putting the punch bowl in that closet, and she freaks out. You can look, but you won't find mine! I am SOOOOOO not a pack rat. I have a few boxes full of keepsakes, and YES, I have a junk drawer (2, actually) -- but I know exactly what's in those drawers. The basement is messy, but that's Stuart's doing (and he'll tell you that's true). Other than that... I've spent the evening trying to think if I have That Place, but I really don't. I hate clutter ALMOST as much as I hate cleaning the fridge!
